For this project, I created a custom poster for my boyfriend featuring his car, blending his love for cars with a bold, artistic design. The concept behind the poster was to capture a 2000s-inspired, urban aesthetic, with a heavy influence of graffiti and street art. I wanted the design to reflect both his personal style and the dynamic energy of his car, so I incorporated vibrant colors, graffiti-style elements, and a sense of movement throughout the composition.
For this project, I began by retouching and enhancing a photo of the car in Photoshop, carefully selecting a background that complemented its sleek design. I then added smoke effects to make it look like the car was racing on a track, creating a sense of movement and excitement.
Next, I used Illustrator to incorporate hand-drawn graffiti elements, experimenting with textures, splatters, and street art-inspired fonts. The goal was to design a striking poster that not only showcased the car but also reflected the bold, urban vibe of street culture.
Throughout the design process, I ensured the chaos of the graffiti did not overshadow the clean lines of the car, keeping the vehicle as the focal point while still embracing the vibrant, rebellious spirit of the overall design. The final result was a unique, personalized piece of artwork that captured both the car's energy and the essence of street style.
